Christopher G. Oechsli

Mr. Oechsli has over three decades of experience in business, law, philanthropy and policy development on five continents, including 21 years in key posts with Atlantic and General Atlantic Corp., the foundation’s international investment subsidiary. From 2000-2005, he served as Atlantic’s Population Health Program Director, during which time he developed and directed the foundation’s work to strengthen the health systems in Viet Nam, South Africa and Cuba. He also led the Atlantic’s development of higher education and rule-of-law initiatives in Viet Nam, South Africa, Australia and the United States; and supported the Founding Chairman’s work in health, education and medical research in the U.S., Australia and Viet Nam. He has previously served as Associate Fellow and Project Director at the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington, D.C. and, from 2007-2009, as Counsel to U.S. Senator Russ Feingold.
